5 months ago today, in response to the alarming rise of Cornonavirus in the UK, we began to cook for our local ambulance services and NHS in North London. With the support of our suppliers and over £10,000.00 donations from our Justgiving page, we delivered freshly cooked, healthy meals 5 days a week for 15 weeks. Our chefs prepared and our drivers delivered over 20,000 meals. Thank you to everyone who helped us help the NHS. Thank you for your donations and your encouragement and thank you to the Cellar Society team whose commitment to this initiative extended to cooking from home during lockdown and queueing for hours every week to buy ingredients. #cellarfortheservices

£5K and counting! We’re past the half way mark! A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has donated so far. You have been so generous! We continue to cook from home for the NHS with the help of your support and encouragement. #CellarForTheServices #feedthenhs

Today’s Burrata with Tomatoes and fresh Basil for the NHS and Ambulance services. Thank you @la_bufala_trading for donating more Burrata than we’ve ever seen before! These salads were prepared by @phinaribena and @andies_yoga #cellarfortheservices #wereallinthistogether #feedtheNHS

Following the Government’s lockdown we have decided to close our kitchens. The only reason to keep our kitchens open over the past weeks has been our support for the London Ambulance Service. Whilst our working practices are the safest, we will not risk the health of our chefs by asking them to travel to work. So everyone is staying home. This means that we are no longer able to produce the large quantities of food at our kitchens for our charitable initiative. BUT we are not prepared to give up on our initiative to support the London Ambulance Service. So we and our families are cooking from home. Those of us cooking have all registered our homes with our local authorities and one of our drivers has agreed to continue to deliver to Ambulance stations in North West London. Sadly, organic ingredients are becoming scarcer by the day and we can no longer rely on generous donations from our suppliers. We are therefore asking you to contribute to our effort by making a donation at Gofundme (link in Bio). Every penny pledged will go towards buying ingredients for this effort. We cannot abandon the brave people fighting this virus on the front line. Please give what you can afford. With love #wereallinthistogether #cookingfromhome #stayinside #staysafe #savelives

Some of our vans and drivers ready to help. With the help of our fresh produce suppliers we will be preparing healthy meals for our local Ambulance Service and helping local food banks to deliver food to the elderly and those in need.
